Favorite Polishes of All Time!

Hi everyone! I'm strapped for time today, so I made a list of my favorite polishes of all time! I know that I love to see other bloggers' faves, so I figured I'd contribute my own list.

Sinful Colors Green Ocean (green/blue flakies in light green glitter suspension base)
Nubar 2010 (green/yellow/orange flakies in clear glitter suspension base)
OPI Bare It in Trafalgar Square (BEAUTIFUL peach toned "nude" creme; from the OPI British Collection)
Milani 3D Holographic Line (gorgeous linear holos in 6 shades: light blue, purple, pink, green, gold and silver)
Milani Gems (almost spot-on Deborah Lippmann "Happy Birthday" dupe)
China Glaze Black Mesh (black crackle- I think it's nicer than OPI Black Shatter)
OPI Burlesque glitters (AMAZING collection... not much more to say!!)
OPI Rising Star (orangish-bronze shimmer; from the OPI Burlesque collection)
OPI My Private Jet (the scandalous brownish-gray holo/non holo!)
China Glaze For Audrey (famous Tiffany blue creme)
China Glaze Frostbite (electric/cobalt blue high-luster shimmer; from the China Glaze Ski collection)
China Glaze Jamaican Out (stunning peachy red/orange shimmer)
China Glaze Pool Party (neon pink with classic neon matte finish)
Nfu-Oh flakies (stunning multi-colored flakies)
Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe (teal hex and square glitter in black glitter suspension base)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some on this list... I may edit it to put in what I remember! What do you ladies and gents think? Any of your faves make the list? Any that didn't? Make your voice heard in the comments!

CG Frostbite and OPI Silver Shatter- oh my!

Hello again! I swatched one of my favorite CG colors (Frostbite) and my brand new OPI Silver Shatter today.

The perfect pair!

I have to say, I just picked up Frostbite a week or two ago and I am totally in love with it. It's from the Ski Collection, but Sally's Beauty Supply has it in their permanent CG collection. Frostbite is a high-luster cobalt (or maybe electric) blue. I think it is one of the most beautiful blue polishes I've ever seen.

Full Sun - 2 coats, no TC

Shade - 2 coats, no TC

Gosh, look at that. It's so vivid, yet wearable. Beautiful! The formula is a dream too: not too thin, not too thick, not streaky or patchy. The brush is the typical China Glaze brush. I have a little trouble controlling those brushes, but I think it's user error! I decided to try OPI Silver Shatter over Frostbite out of curiosity. I didn't have the heart to pass up this combo.

Full Sun - 2 coats Frostbite, 1 coat Shatter, no TC
Shade - 2 coats Frostbite, 1 coat Shatter, no TC

This combo is so beautiful! Silver Shatter tends to be a little sheer in thin coats, as you can see a little on my pinkie in the second picture. Its formula is just like any Black Shatter, and it has the same brush as all of the other OPI shades. I think that this shatter would look best over dark colors to get the full effect.

Have you guys picked up Silver Shatter? What do you think of the combo? Let me hear your thoughts!

HAUL!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a great day. The weather in my neck of the woods is so beautiful today that I don't know how I could be having a bad day. I can hardly wait to get out and soak up some sun.

Today I have a photo of an awesome haul that I made at my local Ulta and Sally store yesterday. I went a little color-crazy, but in my defense, some of them were on sale!

GORGEOUS!

From left to right in the picture, I picked up CG Foxy, CG Goin' My Way?, OPI Silver Shatter, OPI Austin-tatious Turquoise, OPI DS Magic and OPI OPI Ink. I only paid $2.99 for Foxy and Goin' My Way?- what a deal! I'm totally in love with OPI Ink and OPI Silver Shatter. Expect some swatches in the near future!

Have you made a haul lately? Gotta have any of these colors? Tell me in the comments!
